Honeymoon

It’s been a couple of months since my last post here, and for good reason! Last month I married my wonderful fiancée, Clare – who I am now delighted to call my wife!

We had an amazing wedding, shared with friends and family on a beautiful sunny October afternoon. Everything we had planned turned out perfectly, though sadly it all went by in a flash. Before we knew it, we were jetting off on honeymoon with champagne in hand (thanks Will!).

We flew out to Punta Cana and stayed in a remote hotel complex on the north-east point of the Dominican Republic, where we spent 10 days resting on the Caribbean beaches, sipping on Cosmopolitan’s and swigging Coronas. Bliss!

The last five days of our honeymoon we spent in New York City. It was incredible. I love the sights and sounds of NYC, the towering skyscrapers, steam rising up through various manhole covers in the streets, sirens echoing down the avenues – the coffee shops on every corner. We walked around fifteen miles over the course of the weekend, but it was the best way to take it all in. Fifth Avenue, the New York Highline, the Meatpackers District, Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island, Empire State, Grand Central Station, Central Park, Times Square, Rockefeller – we saw the lot! We really didn’t want to leave.

Below are a selection of photos I took from our two weeks away. Some magical memories shared with a very special person.
This one’s for you Clare.

Love you x
