Yesterday evening we had the Oxford Operatic Society Dinner Dance – at the Cherwell Boat House in Oxford, a great venue for hosting an evening of eating and drinking (and some dancing!). Here are a few snaps I got – enjoy!

This week the Musical Youth Company of Oxford are presenting Les Miserables in Headington, Oxford. The show is being directed by a good friend of mine, Edward Blagrove – and I’ve had the privileged over the past couple of months to take photos of the rehearsals leading up to show week – and I could see this was going to be a special one!

This week Oxford Operatic Society are presenting Grease at the New Theatre. The show is being directed by a good friend of ours, Dave Crewe and he’s done a fantastic job! The choreography, created by Sally Chase and Jo Wilkinson is superb – there’s so much happening on stage, I was struggling to take photos of it all! This May the Oxford Operatic Society staged The Mikado at the Oxford Playhouse. I had been asked to take some photos of the rehearsals earlier in the year, and wanted to accompany the show’s official photographer and friend of mine, Ian Bateman, to the dress rehearsal. It still amazes me how the show comes together on-stage having only rehearsed in various halls for the past four months…

For several years now, Clare has been a member of the Oxford Operatic Society, who put on musical productions in Oxford every six months. This year they showed The Producers and Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Jesus Christ Superstar. I had been asked to photograph several of the rehearsals earlier in the year, which were great fun […]
