Meganissi

Clare and I recently spent a week in Meganissi, Greece with my family. It’s a beautiful part of the world, unspoilt by tourism at the moment and home to only 3 small towns on the island, each offering a few taverns on the shore line for lunch and dinner. It was bliss!

We had a villa with a pool on one of the hill tops overlooking the bay of Spartochori, where lots of private sailing boats were kept. We had our own little motor boat for the week that we used to sail around the bay to the neighbouring towns for lunch – the sea breeze was a lovely way to cool off from the heat!

We also rented several scooters that were great fun to drive around the small island, especially at night when the island was much cooler.

Having spent the past couple of months battling with the weather and low light levels in the UK, it was really nice to get the camera out in some sun again for some photos. Here are some of my favourites:
