Last September, Clare and I were invited to Sarah and Steve’s wedding in Surrey. They had a lovely church ceremony where Clare was asked to do a reading, before we all headed off to the reception, not far from Dorking. It was a great day, and a perfect opportunity to get to know Clare’s girl friends from uni and their partners a little better. We’d only had a couple of nights out together as a group in Oxford and Brighton that year, so there was lots to catch up on – especially as Fran and Clare are both engaged to be married to James and I (respectively!) this year.
Sarah and Steve are still travelling on honeymoon and are due back in a couple of months – we’re looking forward to catching up with them both before we all meet again this June for Fran’s wedding!
This was the first event I shot with my Canon 50mm f1.4 lens and I was quite impressed with its low-light performance. These photos have been sat in my catalogue since September, and Clare keeps saying I should put them up on my blog – so here they are: a small collection of photos I snapped on their day:
